CRM: Asia is Catching Up 

According to a recent Gartner survey, CIO’s of Asian firms are increasingly prioritizing CRM systems

The 2012 Gartner Executive Program CIO Agendar survey states: CIO’s business and technology priorities in Asia are finally getting aligned with global trends.

“This is the first time that we’ve seen such a tight alignment and I think it shows that Asia and the rest of the word are becoming on,” said Linda Price, vice president for Gartner Executive Programs groups for Asia Pacific. “Globalization is really having a huge impact on the global CIO’s view of business.”

Consider this astonishing trend revealed by the survey, among all apps, CRM systems were fourth highest priority for the participants; compare that to not being even in the top 10 in last year's survey.

As expected, as a result of the increase of popularity of CRM systems in Asia, which hosts some of the most dynamic business hubs in the world, the CRM market is growing rapidly. Another Gartner report suggests that the CRM market will grow by 7 percent this year; 2011’s CRM market reached $12 billion!
