Create a Reminder for Expiring Contracts:

Salesforce is a great platform for managing not only your organization’s Accounts, Leads, and Contacts, but also Contracts. In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to create a workflow as a reminder of contract expiration.

  1. Go to  Your Name> Setup> App Setup> Create> Workflow & Approvals> Workflow Rules. Click “New Rule”

 2. Give the rule the desired name. Leave the “Evaluation Criteria” set to the first choice. Edit the Rule Criteria to what’s shown below, then click “Save”:

3. Next, add a time-dependent workflow action then click “Save”:

4. After that, Add a description to the workflow action and make sure to add the right recipients. Then click Save.

Now, 30 days before a contract expires, its owners will receive an email alert notification.
